ACCOMMODATIONS INFORMATION

More CheerExpo Nationals Info:

WHERE & WHEN: Saturday, March 27th and Sunday, March 28th, 2010 at the Halifax Forum (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada). Well why do the dates above include the 26th? We offer optional practice floor times on the competition spring floor on the Friday before. These are based on a first booked-first served basis and distance traveled does come into effect. These practice times are not open to public viewing. This just gives teams a chance to get a feel for the competition floor before it really counts. How many other events offer that?? The Halifax Forum is located at 2901 Windsor Street in Halifax.

After your practice time your team will get a full tour of the entire event to make sure they know where & when everything takes place and basic info like: Where is the Info Booth? Where can I get Ice if I need it? Where will EMS be located? Where do we get our team pictures taken? Where is the practice room? Where are the class spaces? How do I get a free CheerExpo Program? Where will the announcer be located? How do we enter and exit the competition floor? Where are the bathrooms, Concession Stands, and ATM machines? And any other questions you may have.

Divisions Offered: This depends on what type of team you are. Navigate the menu bar to "Registration Information" and click on your team type (i.e. Allstar, School, University, Special Needs, etc). Each of the team types has a variety of team divisions offered. There are also Individual, Stunt Group, Partner Stunt, Tumbling and Dance Team Divisions offered.

Awards: All teams will receive awards. The top teams will recieve National Championship Banners. The top three competitors in each individual and stunt group division will receive awards. Top competitors in the stunt group and individual divisions also win banners. All Special Needs, Mini & Tiny competitors receive individual awards. The highest scoring school team will win the Grand Champions award. The allstar/club team that most maxes out their level successfully will receive the MAX OUT© award. There are also prize draws all weekend long for prizes donated by our exhibitors and sponsors. The Coach of the Year wins a host of prizes for their team (past winners have received $2500 gift certificates, free warm up gear for their teams, free custom made team uniforms, etc) plus a plaque and banner for your gym.

Not ready to compete? No problem! Watch & Learn Passes give you access to all classes for the entire weekend. Click on "Watch & Learn" in the menu bar for more info. Regular Spectator Prices are $12 for one day, $18 for both days.

Set Up & Extras: The competition floor is a full 42x54 spring floor. There is a 25 x 54 foot backdrop behind the competition floor. There are event photographers and affordable videographers onsite...plus, you are welcome to take your own amateur photo & videos. Coaches: be sure to check out the Coaches Oasis Room that coaches are raving about. Mini, Tiny and Youth Competitors will appreciate a space just for them to chill out as well.

Who will be there: Cheerleading and dance companies from all over North America, and related companies including shoes, choreography, music, uniforms, props and signs, pompons, ribbons, fundraising, trophies, team wear, etc …everything that you need! CheerExpo is not associated with any other companies so you’ll get the best selection possible! Most other events limit what outside companies can sell at their events. We don't. The more competition, the better the prices and selection are for you. Here you will find the latest products, most at discounted special event prices. And because most items will be sold onsite, there is no mail ordering or shipping charges on those products. Keep in mind that each expo is different and may not include all of these company types.

Classes: During the event, top notch instructors are brought in from all over North America and will be teaching classes on various topics. Class topics will vary from expo to expo. Class sizes are limited and attended on a first come first served basis. There are two classes running every hour of the event. There is no need to pre-register for classes...just show up for the ones you are interested in. In between, check out the competition and/or the vendor booths. For more information on classes, go to the Watch & Learn section of the website.
